Dávid Kis

Director of Hydrogen Technology Research Center, John von Neumann University

David Kis is a passionate research scientist with a strong background in mechanical engineering and material science, combining extensive academic expertise with hands-on industry experience. He is the Director of Hydrogen Technology Research Center at John von Neumann University (JvNU). Mr. Kis has been the project manager of National Laboratory for Renewable Energy (MENL) at JvNU, which works in national consortium on hydrogen fuel cell development. He demonstrated his understanding of hydrogen-based power systems in the university's latest fuel cell vehicle development, Neumann H2, being responsible for the hydrogen subsystem. David Kis has been conducting his PhD research since 2022 in the development of compressed hydrogen storage vessels at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He earned his master's degree as a metallurgical engineer in 2016 and bachelor’s degree as a mechanical engineer in 2014.
