Isidoro Tapia is a Senior Climate officer at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg.
Before joining the EIB, he worked as the Secretary General of the Spanish Energy Agency (IDAE) and a member of the cabinet of the Spanish Secretary of State for Energy. He was also the Spanish Representative at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and a consultant at Solchaga & Recio y Asociados.
He holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania), a master’s degree in economics and finance from the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI), and a BA in economics and law from the Carlos III University of Madrid.
